Local and field news:

On their Telegram accounts, both Jaish al-Islam and the Dahr al-Ghuzat operation room published statements announcing that the factions operating in Northern and Southern Syria launched an open missile attack on loyalist forces' bases on Friday in a campaign entitled "Fury for Ghouta."

On Friday, the Civil Defense documented the killing of 10 civilians and the injuring of more than 100 others by an intensified air and missile attack on Irbin, 6 kilometers east of Damascus.

In a statement obtained by SMART, the Civil Defense added that most of the victims were women and children, killed by over 25 air raids on the town. It also coincided with helicopter bombings of more than 18 explosive barrels and an artillery bombing with more than 150 missiles and artillery shells on residential districts.

The local council of the village of al-Shafouniyah in the Douma area, 14 kilometers east of Damascus, declared the village a disaster area, calling on the international community to take responsibility to stop the bombings.

Two civilians were killed and dozens of others injured by an airstrike on Rukneddine, Damascus, as people accused the loyalist forces of bombing the area by mistake from a warplane that was bombing the villages and towns of Eastern Ghouta.

On Friday, amidst the recent loyalist and Russian military escalation, several demonstrations arose in several Syrian cities and towns in solidarity with the besieged people of Eastern Ghouta,

In Idlib, local activists told SMART that clashes with light, medium and heavy weapons between the Syrian Liberation Front and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham took place in the village of Maarat Misreen (42 kilometers south of Idlib) injuring a young girl by a bullet. The girl was transported to a nearby medical center.

Activists added that these clashes spread to the villages of Abdine, Maraayan and al-Fteirah, pointing out that both parties used all kinds of weapons and artillery shells, causing a panic state among the people of the area.

The Syrian Islamic Liberation Front threatened to fight and confront the Turkistan Islamic Party in Syria if the latter supported the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) in its battles in Northern Syria.

These threats came in retaliation to a statement published by the Turkistan Islamic Party, pointing out that it will participate in the battle alongside Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, if the attacks on HTS were escalated.

The Syrian Islamic Liberation Front regained control of the village of Kafr Naha, Eastern Aleppo, Northern Syria, after clashes with HTS, as the front continues to advance in the towns of Owjeil, Urum al-Kubra and Jamiat al-Rahal.

In Aleppo, the Russian news agency, Sputnik, reported from a field source that the Kurdish People's Protection Units handed the city of Tal Rafaat, Eastern Afrin, to the loyalist forces, whereas a military source told SMART that in actuality the city was handed to Kurdish People's Protection Units fighters coming from Aleppo.

The Head of the Media Office in the Ahl al-Dyar operation room, Chahem Arfad, stated to SMART that the fighters who entered Tal Rafaat were fighters of the Kurdish units, who exited their controlled areas in Aleppo, accompanied by fighters from the loyalist al-Shabiha militias.

Dozens of civilians demonstrated in al-Bab, Eastern Aleppo, Northern Syria, calling on the Free Syrian Army (FSA) to regain control of the loyalist forces'-controlled nearby village of Tadaf. The demonstrators marched to the nearest FSA-controlled location to Tadaf, carrying the Syrian Revolution flag.

In Southern Syria, the Free Daraa provincial council and the Shabab al-Sunna troop denied the news broadcasted by the loyalist media about a meeting between the dignitaries and representatives of FSA-controlled villages and towns and the loyalist forces and Russian officers to conclude a reconciliation agreement.

The "Syrian Government's Local Administration Ministry in Daraa province" published several photos, saying that they were taken in a meeting between representatives of several villages and towns in Daraa and a Russian officer (who leads the Russian reconciliation center in the de-escalation zone of Southern Syria), in addition to representatives of the Syrian government and the National Reconciliation Commission.

Political and international news:

On Friday, the United Nation's special Envoy to Syria, Staffan de Mistura, renewed calls to a ceasefire in Syria, hours before a Security Council's meeting to vote on a 30-day truce, pointing out that the ceasefire agreement should be followed by an immediate and uninterrupted admittance of humanitarian aid, as well as allowing for the evacuation of the sick and injured from Eastern Ghouta.

The Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said that the Olive Branch operation against the Kurdish People's Protection Units will continue with a new strategy after besieging the Afrin area center in Northern Aleppo, Northern Syria, assuming that Turkey may gain a faster advance in the operation during the coming stages.
