On Monday, the U.S. Defense Secretary, Jim Matisse said that he would not rule out a missile strike against the Syrian government, due to the chemical attack that has been carried out on the city of Duma in Eastern Ghouta.

Matisse handed Russia the responsibility for the strike because it did not meet its commitment to ensuring the abandonment of the Syrian government from using the chemical weapons, according to the agency Reuters.

On Monday, the Canadian Foreign Minister Cresina Criland also stressed the need to brought those responsible of the chemical massacre in the city of Douma, which is 14 kilometers east of the Syrian capital Damascus, to the justice.

Criland said that the chemical weapons attacks were a war crime. She pointed out that Canada and its European allies would follow up reports on the use of weapons in various types and they will hold accountable to Assad government, due to his committing atrocities. She stressed on those responsible for the attack must be brought to justice.
