Field and local developments:

On Monday, the Islamic State (ISIS) announced the killing of 37 loyalist forces’ members, while they were trying to advance south of Damascus.

ISIS published on social media that on Sunday, they killed 16 loyalist forces’ members, while they were trying to advance from the northern part of the Yarmouk camp, including five in a tank destroyed by ISIS during the clashes.

The committee representing the towns of southern Damascus (Yilda, Babila, and Beit Sahem) met with a Russian delegation to draw its attention to violations committed by the Syrian government in the towns.

Activists told SMART that the committee met with the delegation near Babila-Sidi Meqdad checkpoint controlled by the Syrian government. The committee draws the Russian delegation’s attention of shelling on the towns despite the truce with the Syrian government, which also tried to advance in areas controlled by the military factions and are on the front line with ISIS-controlled areas.

In Central Syria, some loyal people to the Syrian government attacked the second group of internally displaced persons (IDPs) from eastern Qalamoun, while they were passing through areas controlled by the Syrian government.

Local activists told SMART that the IDPs convoy, which came out late Sunday night - Monday, arrived in the Qalat al-Madiq area in the countryside of Hama. Loyal people in Tartus and the town of Beit Yashout hit the buses with stones while they were passing there, in addition to other abuses.

Thirty-one buses transferred the second group of IDPs from the cities and towns of eastern Qalamoun, Northeast Damascus, to Northern Syria.

Activists told SMART that the buses include civilians and soldiers who left the city of a-Rahiba (45 kilometers northeast of Damascus) and the city of Jerod, then gathered in the city of al-Qatifah to go to Idlib and western countryside of Aleppo.

Loyalist missiles hit the city of Rastan and the al-Zahabieh camp for IDPs north of Homs, Central Syria, killing a child while wounding other civilians, after a session of negotiations on the region with a Russian delegation from the Hmeimim base failed.

On Monday, clashes broke out between Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and the Syrian Liberation Front in the western countryside of Aleppo, Northern Syria, where HTS tried to advance in the area. The shelling and clashes caused damage to civilians’ homes.

Activists from the area said that the clashes took place in the towns of Taqad, Tidel, Aajel, al-Habta and Balinta west of Aleppo, where HTS tried to gain control of some landmarks in the region. The activists added that the sounds of missiles exchanged between the two parties heard in the city of Atareb, about 5 kilometers west of the confrontation areas.

Several activities which were scheduled to take place in western Aleppo, Northern Syria, have stopped due to ongoing clashes between the HTS and the Syrian Liberation Front in the region.

Ahmed al-Ahmed, director of the Life Colors voluntary team, told SMART that they postponed a fair and an activity, which was supposed to be in a kindergarten for children, including displaced children from Eastern Ghouta. They delayed these activities because of clashes between the two parties in nearby areas, and in the interests of children's safety.

HTS’ bullets killed a child and wounded another civilian in the village of Taqad, 23 kilometers west of Aleppo, Northern Syria.

A local source told SMART that the child was killed during the clashes between HTS and the Syrian Liberation. The HTS gained control of the village. The civilian was wounded after the HTS’ members fired on demonstrators, who were demanding HTS to leave the village.

The blood bank and the Thalassemia center in the town of Saraqib, 16 kilometers east of Idlib, Northern Syria, were re-operated after being stopped for more than two months as a result of airstrikes by Russian warplanes.

On Sunday, the director of the blood bank, Dr. Hassan Qaddour, told SMART that the employees of the bank and the center by their efforts re-operated them due to the high need to transfer blood to Thalassemia patients and to provide treatment services. He noted that it is the only center in the eastern countryside of Idlib.

ISIS executed three of its members in the village of Kushma of Nahiyat Hajin, 96 kilometers east of Deir Ez-Zor, Eastern Syria.

A particular source told SMART that ISIS executed the three members by shooting them in front of crowds of people, on charges of urging other ISIS’ members to dissent and disbelieve in their leader.
