Loyalist bombing on Idlib kills civilians, and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham uses live fire against protesters in Aleppo

In Idlib, Northern Syria, a loyalist airstrike on the village of Maarat Harmah (27 kilometers south of Idlib), killed and injured 11 civilians, including four children and a woman.

In Aleppo, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) fighters shot rounds of live fire into the air to scatter protesters demonstrating against them in the village of al-Abzamo, 15 kilometers west of Aleppo, Northern Syria.

Local activists reported that dozens of civilians demonstrated after HTS fighters entered the village. The demonstrators demanded the HTS to exit the village and neutralize it from their clashes with the Syrian Liberation Front. Activists confirmed that there were no injuries among the demonstrators.

On Tuesday, the third group of internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Eastern Qalamoun, Northeastern Damascus, arrived at the city of al-Bab, 30 kilometers east of Aleppo, Northern Syria.

On Monday, about 1,200 IDPs from Eastern Qalamoun arrived at the Sa'id camp, Northern Idlib, Northern Syria.

Also on Monday, Jaysh al-Islam accused the people of Eastern Qalamoun of preventing the opposition factions in the area from launching a battle to break the siege of Eastern Ghouta and push towards an agreement with the loyalist forces.

In Damascus, Southern Syria, loyalist warplanes raided the al-Yarmouk camp for Palestinian refugees and the al-Tadamun district, Southern Damascus, more than 80 times.

On Monday night/Tuesday morning, HTS fighters blocked a loyalist forces' attempt to infiltrate the al-Yarmouk camp for Palestinian refugees, Southern Damascus.

Six days ago, the loyalist forces launched a military campaign in the Yarmouk camp and Tadamun district. Activists reported that the campaign was launched after the failure of the Russian-brokered negotiations between the Islamic State and the loyalist forces. The negotiations concerned the exit of Islamic State elements to the Syrian steppe in Southeastern Syria and the exit of HTS fighters from al-Yarmouk camp to Idlib governorate.

Representatives of the Syrian government and Russia guaranteed that they will suppress and prevent future violations by the HTS in the towns of Babila, Bait Sahm, and Yelda, Southern Damascus.  

On Tuesday, activists said that the Syrian government and Russia promised to prevent violations by the HTS during a meeting with the negotiation committee representing Babila, Bait Sahm, and Yelda in Southern Damascus. The meeting was held in the Rahawanji building near the Babila-Sidi Meqdad checkpoint crossing.

On Monday, the Free Syrian Army (FSA) imposed a curfew in the city of Tafas in Daraa, Southern Syria. The curfew coincided with the deployment of Khalid Ibn al-Walid Army fighters to areas near the city. The Khalid Ibn al-Walid Army is accused of allegiance with the Islamic State.

Loyalist artillery forces shelled FSA bases in the city of Hama, Central Syria, killing three FSA fighters.

International and political news:

On Tuesday, an international conference to encourage and collect aid for Syria was held in Brussels. 85 countries participated in the conference, which was sponsored by the European Union and the United Nations.    

The United States said that Russia must be a "constructive partner" during the Syrian civil war.
