Deported Islamic State fighters from Southern Damascus arrive in Syrian steppe, and Syrian refugees in Turkey enter Syria

On Sunday night, the first group of ISIS fighters and their families who were deported from the al-Tadamun and al-Hajar al-Aswad districts and the al-Yarmouk camp in Southern Damascus, arrived in the Syrian steppe in Eastern Syria.

A private source reported that about 60 healthy and injured fighters and their families arrived in an ISIS-controlled area in the desert that spreads from Western al-Mayadin, Deir ez-Zor, to Eastern Palmyra.

In Northern Syria, a Turkish military convoy entered the crossing of the Kafr Lusin village (30 kilometers north of Idlib), heading for a supervision base that Turkey established earlier near the village of Talminnis, Southern Idlib.

The Bab al-Hawa Syrian-Turkish border crossing near the town of Sarmada, Northern Idlib, lets Syrian refugees who fled to Turkey re-enter Syria to spend Ramadan in their hometowns.

The media spokesman of the Bab al-Hawa border crossing, Mazen Alloush, reported that Syrian refugees residing in Turkey will continue to enter Syria until June 13. Alloush added that the refugees will begin to return to Turkey on June 18, until July 15.

Two police officers were injured during an attack against a Syrian Salvation Government police station in the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham-controlled areas in the town of Sarmada, 30 kilometers north of Idlib, Northern Syria.

Local activists said that two unknown attackers on a motorcycle threw a bomb at the station, injuring two police officers, who were transported to a nearby hospital.

During the month of Ramadan, nine soup kitchens in the city of al-Bab, 38 kilometers east of Aleppo, Northern Syria, work on providing Iftar meals for more than 15,000 people.

The director of the relief office in the al-Bab local council, Ihab al-Rajeh, said that the office organizes the work of more than 15 humanitarian organizations and nine kitchens to provide food and aid for the city's displaced people. Al-Rajeh added that the project will aid about 3,800 families that reside in camps and gatherings inside and outside the city.

In Central Syria, thousands of people that refused to leave the cities, towns and villages of Northern Homs, signed "reconciliation documents" with the Syrian government.

A local source, who preferred to stay anonymous for security reasons, reported that three days ago, "committees" formed by the Syrian government started to register former opposition fighters and young men to serve in the Syrian Army. The committee offices register more than 600 people every day.

In Eastern Syria, the ar-Raqqah Civil Council of the Syrian Democratic Council received new aid from the International Coalition to remove the rubble of ar-Raqqah city.

The Syrian Democratic Forces arrested nine civilians in the Northeastern Deir ez-Zor countryside, Northeastern Syria.
