Local and field news:

On Wednesday, the Maghawir al-Thawra Army of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) denied that families of Islamic State members from the al-Yarmouk refugee camp in Southern Damascus arrived at the al-Rakban camp near the Syrian-Jordanian border, 240 kilometers southeast of Homs.

Muhammad Mustafa, the official spokesperson of Maghawir al-Thawra, stated that no one came from Southern Damascus to the camp, neither ISIS fighters, their families, nor civilians. The statement came after several news channels reported the arrival of dozens of ISIS families at the al-Rakban camp.

In Northern Syria, Abdo al-Nabhan, the vice-president of the city of Afrin’s local council, said that in the last two days, about 200 internally displaced families returned to Afrin from Tal Rafaat and other Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG)-controlled areas.

Nabhan added that the return of the displaced families from the Afrin region follows a decision by the Turkish Army and the Syrian National Army. Some of the house of the displaced families from Afrin are currently occupied by internally displaced persons (IDPs) from the governorate of Rif Dimashq, and Nabhan said that the families who wish to retrieve their houses should show their deeds to the local council, the Syrian National Army, and the Turkish forces.

The Turkish intelligence service suspended a group from the second legion of the Syrian National Army after receiving documents accusing the group of corruption, according to Abu Ahmad al-Taqash, the military spokesperson of the Syrian National Army’s 23rd troop.

Al-Taqash added that the documents confirm that the group, in collaboration with the al-Hayani group, worked for the YPG and smuggled munition and weapons to ISIS-controlled areas.

Clashes with the loyalist forces in the town of Tadef in Aleppo killed an FSA fighter. Activists said that the Shamiah Front clashed with the loyalist forces, but no further information was reported.

On Tuesday night, the Turkish Army deployed reinforcements to their locations in Northern Hama through the village of Kafr Lusin in Idlib. Some of the reinforcements were deployed to a supervision base in the village of Midan Ghazal in the Shahshabo mountains, and the rest of the reinforcements were deployed to another supervision base in the town of Murek in Hama.

The al-Sham legion, which is close to the Turkish Army, escorted the reinforcement convoy with vehicles and heavy machine guns. The reinforcement convoy consisted of 30 military vehicles.

Dozens of young men protested in the city of al-Tabqah in al-Raqqah, Northeastern Syria. The protesters denounced the military conscription that is imposed by the Kurdish Autonomous Administration. Around 60 young men participated in the protest, and they marched from the second neighborhood in the city and dissolved later, fearing arrests by the Kurdish security (Asayish) forces.

The IDPs at the You Are Not Alone 2 camp in the village of Kafr Lusin on the Syrian-Turkish border in Idlib, Northern Syria, complain about the lack of food aid the past two months and poor services as Ramadan and summer approach.

Abu Jaafar, the camp manager, said that dozens of families in the camp suffer because of the lack of aid and support from humanitarian relief organizations. Abu Jaafar added that the camp also lacks medical centers and other services, and that the buildup of garbage is spreading bad smells and diseases as temperatures increase.
