FSA commander says that Russia seeks to create sedition in Southern Syria, and Turkey dismisses National Army faction in Aleppo

Naseem Abu Orra, the Commander of the Military Council of the Sunni Youth Forces, affiliated with the Free Syrian Army (FSA), said that Russia seeks to create sedition in Southern Syria, similar to what is happening in Idlib, Northern Syria.

In Damascus and Rif Dimashq, local activists reported that the Russian military police prevented the Syrian government forces and its supporting militia from evacuating Islamic State fighters’ families from the town of Yilda, Southern Damascus.

In Northern Syria, the Turkish Intelligence dismissed a troop affiliated with the second brigade of the National Syrian Army, after receiving corruption files.

The Military Spokesperson of the 23rd division, Colonel Abu Ahmad al-Taksh, said that the dismissed troop is affiliated with the division, and  that the Turkish Intelligence dismissed it after receiving files and documents that prove the troop’s corruption.

Syrian people started entering Northern Aleppo from Turkey, through the Jarablus crossing (105 kilometers east of Aleppo).

The crossing regulator, Muhammad Abu Sharfo, reported that 1,000 people entered after receiving permission from the Turkish government through a website.

In Idlib, an explosive device injured three Faylaq al-Sham fighters on a main road in the city.

Activists reported that anonymous persons planted an explosive device on the road between Idlib and Maaret Misreen. The explosion injured the three fighters in varying severities, and they were transferred to a nearby medical center.

The department of refugee affairs in Idlib, northern Syria, documented that 40,000 tents have been damaged throughout the refugee camps in Idlib, since the latter were first established.

The head of the relief office, who introduced himself as Abu al-Nour, reported that the number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) has exceeded half a million. He pointed out that the tents that need to be replaced are located in the camps of al-Karama, al-Salam, Sarmada, Salqin, Harem and Khirbat al-Joz. The tents are more than six years old.

So far, sixty children have benefitted from the permanent vaccine center in Jisr al-Shughur, 30 kilometers west of Idlib, Northern Syria. The Free Health Directorate of Idlib opened the center in cooperation with the Syrian Vaccine Team and other humanitarian organizations.

In Central Syria, the Syrian government forces reshelled the farmlands al-Lataminah city, Northern Hama, using phosphorus bombs. The attacks burned large areas, and the losses were estimated at $25,000.

The President of the Local Council of the city, Hussam al-Hasan, said that the Syrian government forces bombed the farmlands with phosphorus bombs from their surrounding bases. The bombs burned 100 acres of wheat, and 50 acres of hay.

The Islamic State (IS) revealed the results of the attack against the Syrian government forces bases near Palmyra, Eastern Homs.

In Eastern Syria, the IS reinforced its military bases near the city of al-Hajin (95 kilometers east of Deir ez-Zor).

Local activists reported that two days ago, the IS started reinforcing their bases with fighters, in preparation for any attack by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the International Alliance.

International and political news:

The National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces said that the international attempts to repel Iran from Syria is “very urgent and very late.”

The Head of the Coalition, Abd al-Rahman Mustafa, tweeted that Syrian people paid with thousands of victims before the world recognized the “Iranian danger” on Syria and the whole area.

The National Coalition warned that law 10, issued in 2018, has an adverse impact on the political transition which was decided in the Geneva 1 statement and the U.N. Security Council resolution 2254. The law allows establishing one or more regulatory areas under the general urban planning project.
