Explosions wound civilians in Aleppo and Daraa; girl dies as result of floods in Northern Syria

On Wednesday, a motorcycle bomb exploded in the city of al-Bab, 38 kilometers east of Aleppo, Northern Syria, wounding two civilians.

On Wednesday, an explosive device wounded a military commander of the Sham Corps of the Free Syrian Army (FSA). It exploded near his home in the town of Urm al-Kubra, 15 kilometers west of Aleppo, Northern Syria.

One child died, and others were injured as a result of floods in southern and western parts of Aleppo, Northern Syria.

The Badr Brigade belonging to the Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement raided apartments, inhabited by displaced persons from Eastern Ghouta, in Nahiyat Jindaiyris, Afrin, Northern Syria. The Brigade also demanded the displaced persons to evacuate the apartments to house its members.

Activists and military leaders from the town of Tal Rifaat (29 kilometers north of Aleppo) called for a meeting to discuss the fate of the city, which is still controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces.

Kidnappers released the head of the political office of the FSA’s Islam Martyrs Brigade, Capt. Said Nakrash, after being kidnapped for about a month and a half from Idlib, Northern Syria.

Activists on social media reported the release of Nakrash without giving further details. Some said that the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) kidnapped him and then released him for a "huge ransom."

On Wednesday, the FSA's Saraya Daraya group took on responsibility for an attack on the Syrian government forces-controlled town of al-Foah, 9 kilometers north of Idlib, Northern Syria.

An explosive device wounded two HTS fighters near the town of Ibtaa, 20 kilometers north of Daraa, Southern Syria.

On Wednesday, two shells hit the village of Arra, 10 kilometers southwest of as Suwayda, Southern Syria.

Residents told SMART that the losses were limited to the material. They stated that the shells were launched from the western side of the village.

The al-Sanadid forces arrested members of the military discipline of the Kurdish Autonomous Administration, east of al-Hasakah, Northeastern Syria, in response to the arrest of al-Sanadid members by the Kurdish Autonomous Administration in the town of Ain Issa, al-Raqqa.

The Kurdish National Council in al-Hasakah, Northeastern Syria, accused the military factions in the Afrin region, Aleppo, Northern Syria, of killing the deputy head of the local council in the town of Shih, Ahmed Sheikho.

Political and international developments:

The United Nations special envoy to Syria, Staffan de Mistura, said that Russia, Turkey, and Iran would discuss forming the Syrian "constitutional committee" on June 18-19 in Geneva.
