Victims of bombing the Syrian regime on the first day of Eid al-Fitr and the United States threaten to take firm action against regime violations

On the other hand, the "Jayish al-Ezzah" of the Free Syrian Army announced the bombing of positions of the loyalist forces in the village of al-Safsafiya and the thermal station in the city of Mahreda with artillery shells in response to the shelling of civilians.

In a parallel context, people from the city of Hama which is under the control of the regime's forces expressed their resentment at the continued assault of the elements and militias of the Syrian government without being held accountable.

A local source, who declined to be named for security reasons, told "SMART" that an officer and elements of al-Shabihah in the neighborhood of al-morabit Hama severely beat an unarmed person because he was slightly bumped into their car.

The source pointed out that the cases of assault repeated by the elements of the Syrian regime and al-Shabiha to the unarmed people without being held accountable by the concerned authorities.

Political and international developments:

The US State Department announced Thursday that its country would provide the US $ 6.6 million to the Syrian Civil Defense Organization and an agency that documents human rights violations.

The ministry said the amount would be provided to the "civil defense" and to the impartial and independent international mechanism that collects and analyzes evidence of violations of international human rights law.

The United States also said in a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry that it would take firm measures against violations by the Syrian regime of the "easing of escalation" agreement in southwestern Syria.

The statement called on Russia to use its diplomatic and military influence to prevent the regime from launching attacks and military operations there.
