Free Syrian Army kills and injures loyalist forces' fighters in Northern Hama; Free Syrian Army arrests several of its own fighters for torturing a civilian in Afrin area

On Saturday, the Free Syrian Army (FSA) variously targeted, injured and killed loyalist forces fighters in Northern Hama, Central Syria, using a guided thermal missile.

In a statement, the al-Izzah Army said that they targeted loyalist forces' fighters at the al-Masasnah village checkpoint near the town of Tibat al-Imam (16 kilometers north of Hama) using a Tow missile.

In Southern Syria, the FSA denied any Israeli bombings on loyalist forces' locations in the Daraa governorate.

Earlier, activists and media channels reported news of an Israeli artillery shelling from the occupied Golan on the Tolul Fatmah area in Daraa.

Also in Southern Syria, 40 acres of wheat crops burned in Ibtaa town (20 kilometers north of Daraa).

The town's Chief of Police, Yaser Awdeh al-Hariri, reported that the burnt crops lie on the road leading to the town's dam, and that the loss is estimated at  more than two million Syrian Pounds.

In Northern Syria, the al-Sultan Murad Troop of the FSA, arrested several of its own fighters, after they arrested and tortured a civilian in the Afrin area near Aleppo.

A local activist reported that the Sultan Murad Troop's fighters arrested a civilian from the village of Khalilak in the Nahiyat Bulbul of the Afrin area and brutally beat him, inducing him into a coma, after which they transported him to a Turkish hospital. Activists published a photo of the civilian with marks of the beating on his body.

Also in the Afrin area, a landmine planted by the Kurdish People's Protection Units in the village of Sinko, 43 kilometers northwest of Aleppo, Northern Syria, exploded and killed a civilian, injuring two others.

Also in Northern Syria, the deputy mayor of the Turkish city of Gaziantep was accompanied by political and military figures as he attended a ceremony in celebration of Eid al-Fitr. Police and General Security Forces Command organized the assembly in al-Bab city (40 kilometers east of Aleppo).

In Idlib, humanitarian and civil committees organized celebrations for local and displaced children in several cities within the Northern Syrian governorate, to mark the beginning of Eid al-Fitr.

In Northeastern Syria, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested six of their own fighters in al-Tabqah city (55 kilometers west of al-Raqqa), after weapons went missing from one of their warehouses.

A military source from inside the al-Tabqah military camp said that the SDF's military police and the camp's administration arrested two warehouse guards and four camp guards, after an inventory showed that 14 light machine guns (Kalashnikov), 65 magazines, five Glock American pistols and three hand grenade crates were missing.

International and political news:

On Saturday, the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, discussed the Syrian case during a telephone call with French President, Emmanuel Macron.
