Local and field developments:

On Wednesday, the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Russia decided on separate agreements in the city of al-Sanamen and the towns of Ghabagheb and Mahja, Northern Daraa, Southern Syria.

A military source reported that the agreement is similar to the one in the Daraa al-Balad neighborhoods, but Russia and the Syrian government forces required the FSA to hand over its weapons. The source added that the agreements in the city of al-Sanamen (52 kilometers north of Daraa), Ghabagheb and Mahja are similar in content.

The FSA and Russia also reached an agreement in Nawa, 25 kilometers north of Daraa, Southern Syria. A Syrian government envoy attended the meeting.

The head of the negotiation delegation, Mahran al-Daya, stated that the agreement requires the Syrian government forces to take control of the military bases in the perimeter of Nawa and the FSA to secure the government forces when passing through the city.

Smoke arose from the two pro-Syrian government villages of Kufriya and al-Fo'a, 5 kilometers north of Idlib, Northern Syria, amid intense gunfire and explosions. Activists predict that there was destruction to property and weapons.

The Salvation Government issued a pre-emptive circular to prevent anyone from getting close to the vicinity of Kufriya and al-Fo'a until removing the mines planted by the Syrian government forces before implementing the agreement with the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS).

The Syrian government forces confiscated buses from transportation companies in the city of Hama, Central Syria, to use them to evacuate the residents of the al Fo'a and Kufriya towns in Idlib. This evacuation came as a part of the HTS agreement with Iran to evacuate all residents from the towns.

An explosion by an unknown source killed an Islamic police station officer in the city of al-Dana, 35 kilometers north of Idlib, Northern Syria, injuring two other people, including a civilian, and causing widespread destruction.

A football tournament started in the village of Babila (26 kilometers south of Idlib). 12 teams from the governorates of Aleppo, Idlib, and Hama participated in the tournament, under the auspices of a medical organization.

The administration of the Bab al-Hawa border crossing with Turkey in Idlib set a date to open the crossing for the entry of Syrians from Turkey to Syria in Eid al-Adha holiday.

American experts along with a team of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), detonated Islamic State (ISIS) landmines which were taken out of the neighborhoods of al-Raqqa.

The Syrian Human Rights Network published a report saying that Russian troops have killed 6,187 civilians since the start of the Russia intervention in Syria.

The report said, “Russian troops continue to commit criminal massacres and have killed 6,187 civilians, including 1,771 children since the start of Russian intervention in Syria”.
