Hundreds of detainees arrive in Idlib after an agreement between Iran and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham

Local and field developments:

The first group of the released detainees arrived in the Shueib mosque in Idlib, under the agreement decided between Iran and the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham. Humanitarian organizations and charities to head to the mosque to provide aid.

A SMART reporter said that 12 buses carried hundreds of detainees entered the al-Iss crossing toward Idlib. Twenty four other buses are waiting to enter. Activists reported that the operation would last until Friday, due to the Syrian government delay.

Dozens of families of detainees protested in Idlib against not releasing their children who were detained years ago under the agreement with Iran. The agreement included the detained since months or days.

The residents gathered in front of the Shueib mosque in Idlib, waiting for their children who have been detained for years. The first group included 700 detainees, mostly arrested since three or four months, in addition to some people who were arrested weeks ago and several ones who were arrested years ago.

The joint Head of the agriculture department, Mahmoud Bozan, stated that they provided agricultural equipment, such as seeds, feed, and fuel, for the farmers in low prices, which increased the agriculture areas by 500 acres.

In SOuthern Syria, the Syrian government forces seized the al-Jabiah hill near Nawa, 25 kilometers northwest of Daraa, Southern Syria.

A military source, who preferred not to be named said that the Syrian government seized the hill after a military campaign lasted for four days.

In Central Syria, the Syrian government seized buses and created a traffic problem in Hama. They seized the buses to implement the agreement with the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham.

Eyewitnesses reported that the Syrian government forces and supporting militias seized the small buses from the Salah al-Din Street, Central Hamah, to transport the Kafraya and al-Foah residents.

The Syrian government forces increased the night patrols in the past nights in Hama.

Political and International news:

The Turkish Foreign Ministry stated that the Syrian government could not establish a legitimate power with the military campaigns and displacement of the residents of the de-escalation agreement areas.
