Loyalist forces seize villages in Quneitra; Turkey installs concrete walls around observation bases south of Aleppo

On Monday, trucks loaded with concrete walls entered the Turkish observation base at the al-Ais hill south of Aleppo, Northern Syria.

Civil Defense volunteers in the governorate of Quneitra, Southern Syria, accused their administration of abandoning them and not evacuating them like their colleagues towards Jordan, and evacuating civilians instead of them, hinting at "corruption."

The Civil Defense spokesman in Quneitra, Ayman Nasser, told SMART that he and 17 Civil Defense volunteers are at risk due to "corruption" in the Civil Defense administration that led to the “secret” evacuation of civilians from Southern Syria instead of them.

The director of the Civil Defense, Raed al-Saleh, confirmed that Civil Defense volunteers stayed in Quneitra and Daraa. Al-Saleh indicated that the volunteers were forced to stay due to a "lack of conformity or official ID papers."

International Coalition warplanes bombed the city of al-Shaafa near Deir ez-Zor, Eastern Syria, killing and wounding several Islamic State members.

A special source told SMART that the Coalition warplanes targeted the IS headquarters in al-Shafaa, killing three IS members and wounding others.

The Asayish forces belonging to the Kurdish Autonomous Administration arrested two members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Ras al-Ayn near al-Hasakah, Northeastern Syria.

A member of the party told SMART that the Asayish arrested the two members from their home in Ras al-Ayn (71 kilometers northeast of al-Hasakah), without cause.

The military police of the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested a number of recruits fleeing the forced recruitment camps west of the city of al-Raqqa, Northeastern Syria.

Doctors and nurses performed surgery to remove a bone fixer from a young man’s leg in the al-Rukban camp east of Homs, Central Syria, using equipment meant for car maintenance.

One of the nurses in the surgery, Shukri Shehab, told SMART that they did the surgery without anesthesia, and used car maintenance equipment.
