International Coalition airstrikes kill and injure civilians and Islamic State members in Deir Ez-Zor; Turkey and opposition factions arrest people from camps in Aleppo

Local and field updates:

On Monday, International Coalition airstrikes killed and injured civilians and members of the Islamic State (IS) in the village of al-Baghouz, 127 kilometers southeast of Deir ez-Zor, Eastern Syria.

On Monday, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) liberated a Yazidi family from the grip of the Islamic State (IS) in the perimeter of the city of Hajin 97 kilometers southeast of Deir Ez-Zor, Eastern Syria.

Turkish troops and the Euphrates Shield Operation Factions raided two camps in the Afrin area,43 kilometers northwest of Aleppo, arresting 12 people.

On Tuesday, Captain Naji al-Mustafa, the spokesperson for the National Liberation Front, stated that they aspire to work under a unified military establishment with an active leadership in the Aleppo and Idlib governorates, Northern Syria.

On Tuesday, the Rijal al-Karama (Men of Dignity) Faction hold a second meeting with Russians in as-Suwayda in less than a week.

Activists, who are close to the Rijal al-Karama, reported that on Monday, a Russian delegation visited the Rijal al-Karama commander Yahya al-Hajar’s house in the village of Shanira. The activists added that the Russians demanded bedouine clans’ evacuating from Eastern as-Suwayda to the Daraa governorate, Southern Syria; however, the Rijal al-Karamah refused the Russians’ demands.

The Syrian government signed a contract to export grapes and apples from as-Suwayda governorate, Southern Syria to Russia.

On Monday, the formal Syrian government’ newspaper of Tishreen reported Abdullah al-Gharbi,  the minister of internal trade saying that the Syrian government is ready to buy most of the apples production in as -Suwayda provided that farmers sell the entire production whether it  is for export, internal markets, or industry.

The Asayish security forces of the Kurdish Autonomous Administration closed private schools (institutes) in the city of al-Hasakah for teaching educational  curriculums of the Syrian government.

Political and international updates:

On Tuesday, Mevlut Cavic Oglu, Turkish foreign minister said that Ankara hopes to reach a settlement with Moscow about the Idlib governorate, Northern Syria.

On Monday, the American Foreign Secretary Mike Pompeo discussed the Syrian issue with the Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.
