Israel bombs Syrian government forces’ outposts; 45 people killed and injured in airstrikes in Idlib

On Tuesday, Syrian government media outlets reported that Israeli warplanes bombed Syrian government military outposts in the governorates of Homs, Hama, and Tartus in Central and Western Syria, killing members of the forces. The media outlets did not specify the identity of the killed members.

Also on Tuesday night, a bomb exploded in the city of Manbij, Eastern Aleppo, Northern Syria. The explosion coincided with a shooting against a patrol of the al-Thuwar Army belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces.

On Tuesday, a member of the National Defense militia belonging to the Syrian government forces was killed in clashes with Iranian militias in the city of Albukamal, Eastern Deir al-Zor, Eastern Syria.

A local source reported that the clashes erupted after the Iranian militias prevented the members of the National Defense militia from looting properties near the al-Rahman mosque in Albukamal.

On Tuesday, the Negotiation Committee met a Russian delegation in Daraa, Southern Syria, to discuss issues related to the procedures of the reconciliation agreement that both sides reached in the governorate.

Adnan al-Masalmeh, the coordinator of the Negotiation Committee delegation, reported that the committee met a Russian delegation headed by Lieutenant General Sergei, who is responsible for the Southern Syria file. Al-Masalmeh added that both sides discussed the issues of prisoners, education, employees, and the Syrian government forces’ violations against the reconciliation agreement.
