Local and field developments:

On Wednesday, a motorcycle bomb explosion wounded five civilians in the city of Jarablus, northeast of Aleppo, Northern Syria.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that its warplanes bombed sites of the al-Nusra Front in Idlib governorate, Northern Syria.

The Russian news agency Sputnik quoted the Defense Ministry as saying that four Su-34 planes left the Russian base in Hameimim in Lattakia and bombed a workshop used by the al-Nusra Front to collect drones, and an explosives store used to mobilize drones.

The U.S. Defense Secretary, Jim Matisse, said that the U.S. had no evidence or intelligence information about the possibility of using chemical weapons by military factions in the governorate of Idlib, Northern Syria.

The deputy commander of the Russian forces in Syria, Sergey Koralenko, said that the area of disengagement between Syria and Israel in the occupied Golan is now free of heavy weapons in full.

The Turkish Interior Ministry said that 50,000 Syrian refugees, who had entered Turkey for Eid al-Fitr holiday, had not returned to Turkey "voluntarily".
