Syrian government intense shelling kills and injure civilians in Southern Idlib; Trump warns against massacre in governorate

On Thursday, a Syrian government forces' rocket and artillery shelling killed a civilian and injured others in different areas of Southern Idlib, Northern Syria.

The opposition faction Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in cooperation with the Salvation Government arrested the head of the local council of the city of Mourek in Hama, amidst demands to release him immediately.

On Wednesday night, the Asayish security forces of the Kurdish Autonomous Administration raised the alert in the city of al-Raqqa after unknown gunmen injured two Asayish fighters.

Residents of the Western Daraa countryside complain about high prices of construction materials after being forced to reconstruct their houses after the Syrian government forces bombed them. Neither the Syrian government nor any other party provided financial support for the residents to reconstruct their houses.

On Wednesday, the Syrian Network for Human Rights documented the killing of 22 media activists in Syria since the start of 2018 until early September.

On Wednesday night, the United States President Donald Trump warned the Syrian government against committing a massacre in the Idlib governorate, Northern Syria.
