On Thursday, Syrian government forces’ airstrikes destroyed the Civil Defense headquarters in the town of al-Tamani’a, Southern Idlib in Northern Syria.

Residents fled towns and villages in Eastern Idlib amidst strong Syrian government forces’ bombings.

At Thursday’ dawn, a Syrian government forces’ shelling injured a woman and man in the town of Jazraya, Southern Aleppo in Northern Syria. Residents fled the town after the shelling.

The Syrian government forces prepared to send dozens of youths from the al-Qalamoun district in Northern Damascus, to fight with the Syrian government forces in Idlib. The youths were former fighters of the Free Syrian Army.

Local sources reported that the Syrian government forces would send 116 youths from the city of al-Dumair to join the Syrian government’ forces reinforcements in preparation to launch an attack against Idlib. The sources noted that the youths fought the Syrian government forces in 2013.

On Thursday, hundreds of fighters of militias belonging to the Syrian government forces headed from the Deir ez-Zor governorate, Eastern Syria, to Northern Syria.

Turkey sent additional military reinforcements to Turkish troops deployed to the border with Syria.

On Thursday, the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) formed the Joint Autonomous Administration in Northern and Eastern Syria. The SDC elected a joint presidency of the General Council and Executive Committee.

The Asayish security forces belonging to the Kurdish Autonomous Administration in the al-Raqqa governorate, Northeastern Syria, tightened the security grip on former prisoners whom the Asayish released from prisons after accusing them of being Islamic State’s members.

On Thursday, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) closed river crossings with areas controlled by the Syrian government forces in the Deir ez-Zor governorate, Eastern Syria; however, the SDF kept one crossing opened.

On Thursday, Mi’raj Oral, the commander of the Popular Front to Liberate Iskandaroun militia survived a new assassination attempt in the Latakia governorate, Northwestern Syria.

Political and international updates:

On Thursday, the French Army said that they are ready to strike Syrian government’ outposts in case the Syrian government used chemical weapons during a potential attack against the Idlib governorate, Northern Syria.

On Thursday, Ali Larijani, the head of the Iranian Parliament stated that he wishes the guarantor states of the Astana Talks  (Russia, Turkey, and Iran) reach an agreement on the Idlib governorate, during a summit in Tehran.

David Fredman, the United States’ Ambassador to Israel, stated that he could not imagine that Israel withdraws from the occupied al-Golan Heights in favor of the Syrian government.

Samer Khalil, the minister of Economy in the Syrian government, stated that there is no benefit from reopening the Nassib crossing with Jordan, in the Daraa governorate, Southern Syria.
