On Sunday night, the US President Donald Trump threatened to devastate Turkey's economy if they launch a military operation against the Kurds in Syria.

Trump tweeted, "Will devastate Turkey economically if they hit Kurds. Create 20 mile safe zone (…) likewise, do not want the Kurds to provoke Turkey."

Trump added that the United States is starting to pull out their forces from Syria and that they will continue the attacks against the IS from nearby US bases.
