American soldiers die in explosion adopted by IS eastern Aleppo; International suspend NGOs of health directorates in Northern and Western Syria

On Wednesday, an explosion hit the International Coalition forces and fighters of the Manbij Military Council of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the city of Manbij near Aleppo, Northern Syria, killing killed 13 people, including four US soldiers and two members of the Syrian Democratic Forces and seven civilians.

The Islamic State (IS) claimed responsibility for an explosion that targeted the International Coalition forces and fighters of the Manbij Military Council of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the city of Manbij in eastern Aleppo, Northern Syria.

IS media outlets reported that the IS sent a suicide bomber with an explosive belt to blow himself up amid an International Coalition military patrol in Manbij, without saying further details.

At the same time,  International Coalition forces against the IS  dismantled mines planted under the bridge Karkozaq in the city of Manbij in eastern Aleppo, Northern Syria.

In another context, the German Technical Cooperation Agency suspended its support of medical projects and the Free Health Directorates in Aleppo, Hama, and Idlib until further notice.

Meanwhile, the Free Health Directorate staff in the governorates of Hama and Idlib, Central and Northern Syria, started to work voluntarily after the directorates' financial support was suspended. 

On Wednesday, a landmine exploded in the village of Iblin in southern Idlib, Northern Syria, injuring four children.

In al-Hasakah, institutions affiliated with the Yezidi religion said that the number of Yezidis in Syria has decreased by 40 percent since 2011 until now.

On Wednesday, the Free Syrian Army's Ahrar Darat Izzah Brigade announced joining the Sham Corps of the National Liberation Front (NLF) in western Aleppo, Northern Syria.

In Aleppo, The police and public security forces detained a restaurant owner in the city of Azaz near Aleppo, Northern Syria, for broadcasting a football match of the Syrian national team on television.

In Daraa, unknown persons raised the Syrian revolution flag above the minaret of the mosque in the town of al-Karak al-Sharqi, 24 kilometers east of Daraa, Southern Syria.

International and political updates:

On Wednesday, the spokesman for the Turkish presidency Ibrahim Kalin said that next week, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan would visit the Russian capital Moscow to discuss the situation in Northeastern Syria after the withdrawal of the United States forces.

Iran announced that it would retain its military advisors, weapons and equipment in Syria.
