SDF gains control of village in Deir al-Zor; Russia says that violations of Idlib agreements have increased after HTS' control

On Wednesday, the Syrian Democratic Forces gained control of the Mozan village in the area of al-Susah in southeastern Deir al-Zor, Eastern Syria, after clashes with the Islamic State.

Russian forces shelled the city of Mourek, 27 kilometers north of Hama, Central Syria, injuring two women. The women were transferred to a nearby medical clinic.

The Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) arrested five people in the village of al-Hisha in the Ayn Issa area and the village of the Thulth Khneiz in al-Raqqa, on charges of dealing with the Syrian government.

A source from the fuel traders in the Tishreen market, northern al-Raqqa, said that the YPG confiscated two trucks transferring fuel in the village of al-Kantari.

On Wednesday, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, said that violations of the de-escalation and demilitarized zone agreements have increased after the HTS gained control of most of the Idlib governorate, Northern Syria.

At a news conference in Moscow, Zakharova said that 65 people had been killed and 200 injured, and 1,000 violations were reported since the Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed the Idlib agreement in September, according to Russia Today news agency.
