Tartous - SMART

On Wednesday, a supply patrol of the Syrian regime issued violations to 27 shops in the city of Tartous, Western Syria because the shop owners didn't comply with the prices.

A local source told SMART that the patrol violated shops arbitrarily. It issued violations to other shop owners because they sold materials for  high prices.

The source pointed out that materials purchased by traders in the past are sold at high prices compared to the materials they bought recently. Therefore, the regime patrol violated them.

The source added that if the old materials were sold at the same price of the new materials, the traders will lose. He said that traders agreed with the patrol's officials to adhere to the new prices after selling old goods.

Last September, the regime Directorate of Supply seized a factory that produces food in violation of specifications. It confiscated 3324 bottles of vinegar, 564 bottles of oil and 80 liters of olive oil, according to the regime's media.
