Al Hasakah - SMART

About 3,000 displaced people from Der Azzor arrived in the Kana camp near Al Shadadi City (51 km south of Al Hasaka), Northeast Syria, while others left the camp for the Damascus Province and other areas.

An administrator of the camp, Zaher Gharbi, told SMART that the displaced people arriving in the camp came from a gathering point for displaced people near the village of Al Malha of the Al Shadadi City.

Gharbi added that four busses, carrying 36 families of 230 people, left the camp towards the loyalist forces-controlled areas in the Damascus Province, while others left for other areas, adding that 10 busses will carry more families out of the camp in the coming days.

Earlier, a member of the Office for Refugees and Displaced people in Rojava, Dawod Hesso, sent SMART a copy of the September statistics, which shows that 920 families (5070 people) left the camp for Damascus via the Al Qamishli airport.

The Rojava administration in the Al Hasakah Province said that about five thousand displaced people from Der Azzor arrive daily in al Hasaka, fleeing the battles between the loyalist forces and ISIS on one side, and the Syrian Democratic Forces and ISIS on another.
