Free Syrian Army announces its gaining control of new village in the Afrin area

On Tuesday, the Syrian Free Army (FSA) announced that it had gained control of a new village in the Afrin area in Northern Aleppo, Northern  Syria. After the battles with the Syrian Democratic Forces(SDF), most of which are the Kurdish Protection Units.

The factions of the Olive Branch battle said on their account on Twitter that they have been gained control of the village of Hebron in the area of Rajo, which is 25 kilometers northwest of the city of Afrin. After clashes with the Kurdish units, without giving further details.

On Monday, the factions said that it and the Turkish army had gained control the village of Oshagi in the area of Rajo after battles with the Kurdish units, killing ten members of the Kurdish groups.

On Sunday, After clashes with SDF resulted in the killing and capturing a number of the SDF members. The Free Syrian Army participated in the operation of the olive branch with the Turkish Army, announced its gaining control  the entire Barasaya mountain, Eastern Afrin, which is 43 kilometers north of Aleppo, Northern Syria

On Jan. 20, the Turkish army launched a ground military offensive in operation called it Olive Branch in the Afrin area, which is under the control of SDF. They have gained control of several villages and hills since the Olive Branch launching. However, the intensity of the fighting has decreased in previous days, as a result of adverse weather conditions.
