FSA and Islamic factions capture ISIS fighters, Southern Idlib

Factions of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Islamic battalions announce the capture of a group of ISIS fighters while attempting to sneak into the village of Khawin, Maarrat al-Nu'man area (38 kilometers south of Idlib), Northern Syria.

According to a video broadcasted by the factions and battalions working in the "Dahr Al Ghuzat" operation room on their Twitter account, eight ISIS fighters were captured, with no further information about the battles there.

Also, Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham media said that its fighters targeted ISIS groups, with medium and heavy weapons, while the groups attempted to advance from the Sham Al Hawa village towards  Al Murabitin areas in the town of Ard Al Zarzour, Southern Idlib.

Activists said that the clashes between the "Dahr Al Ghuzat" and Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham factions and battalions from one side, and ISIS from the other, took place in the villages of Al Khawin and Al Zarzour, and in the perimeter of the Um Al Khalakhil village. The ISIS fighters were about 170 in number, according to local activists.

Three ISIS fighters were killed, and two others surrendered, after clashes between ISIS and Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham in the eastern perimeter of Um Al Khalakhil, Southern Idlib.

Earlier, ISIS gained control of three villages and a town in the Al Hamra area (34 kilometers northeast of Hama), after "fake" clashes with the loyalist forces, gaining access to the road to the Southern Idlib countryside.
