Kurdish Units shell the city of Aazaz, injuring three civilians in Aleppo

On Monday, three civilians were wounded in a rocket attack by the Kurdish 'People Protection Units' on the town of Aazaz (38 kilometers north of Aleppo) in Northern Syria.

The Kurdish Units, which is the backbone of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), targeted the city from its nearby headquarters. The shelling hit a residential house, wounding three civilians. One of them in a critical condition and the others were treated in the city hospital.

The local council of the city issued a decision to cancel the “Bazaar Tuesday” market because of the bombing or fear of repeated shelling on homes and residential neighborhoods.

One child was injured as a result of the bombing by the Kurdish Units on the town of Kalgbreen in the city of Aazaz. A child was killed, and four members of his family were wounded in a similar attack on the city.

The northern Aleppo is witnessing a military escalation between the Free Syrian Army, which is control Aazaz and SDF, which is control Afrin region. The Turkish army supports the military operation against the Kurdish Units, amidst mutual bombardments by the two parties.
