Hama - SMART

On Friday, a government raid killed two civilians and injured others in the village of Hweijeh, Hama, Central Syria.

The Civil Defense reported that a man and a pregnant woman were killed and three others were injured by government aerial bombing in Hweijeh.

Activists added that the government launched a raid in al-Lataminah and bombarded the village of Sirmaniyah. Only material losses were recorded.

The Free Syrian Army (FSA) thought the government to be searching for any victory after heavy losses in Eastern Ghouta, by way of the latter’s threat of attacking faction-controlled areas of Hama.

The government media reported that the government has given three days to the residents of Shahshabo mountain, al-Madiq castle and Sahl al-Ghab, to voluntarily hand over their villages to the loyalist forces, or else it will launch a military campaign.

Factions of the FSA proclaimed that they are prepared for any possible attack by the loyalist forces on Shahshabo mountain, al-Madiq castle and Sahl al-Ghab. The factions assured that there are no such agreements with the government to hand over the areas.
