Five civilians were killed and others injured by aerial, missile and artillery government strikes on the towns of Eastern Ghouta, despite the U.N. General Council 2401 Resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire.

The Civil Defense reported on their Facebook page that three civilians were killed by raids and cluster missile attacks on the residential neighborhoods of Beit Sawa.

The Civil Defense also documented that two civilians in Hazarma and Misraba were killed by aerial bombing. In Saqba a civilian died of his wounds.

Artillery bombing by loyalist forces on Ain Tarma and Mdira injured several civilians. The Civil Defense moved them to nearby medical points.

The Civil Defense reported earlier that they have documented the death of 103 civilians. They were killed by the Russian and government bombing of Eastern Ghouta after the U.N. General Council Resolution 2401. The resolution includes a 30-day countrywide ceasefire, lifting the siege of Eastern Ghouta, sending humanitarian aid and allowing unconditional medical evacuation.
