Rif Dimashq - SMART

The Revolution Judicial Council in Dimashq and Rif Dimashq annoiunced the death of one of their judges. The judge was killed as a result of bombing on Eastern Ghouta.

The Council disclosed in a statement that Judge Maher Kharboutli was killed by the “insidious shells” targeting Eastern Ghouta. He also conveyed his condolences to relatives of the victim.

Kharboutli and two other civilians were killed on Thursday by suspected Russian aerial bombing of Kafr Batna, according to local activists.

The Civil Defense reported earlier that they have documented the death of 103 civilians killed by Russian and government bombing of Eastern Ghouta. This is despite the U.N. General Council’s Resolution 2401, which includes a 30-day countrywide ceasefire, lifting the siege of Eastern Ghouta, sending humanitarian aid and allowing unconditional medical evacuation.
