Clashes between Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and Syrian Liberation Front injure civilians in Western Aleppo

On Tuesday, clashes between the Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) and the Syrian Liberation Front injured three civilians. The clashes occurred to control the village of Bsartoun, 22 kilometers west of Aleppo, Northern Syria.  

Local activists reported to SMART that the clashes between the two parties injured two children and a man, pointing out that fighting parties used heavy and medium machine guns in addition to artillery shells during the clashes.

Activists appealed both parties to stop infighting and to neutralize residential the fight, pointing out that clashes continued, causing panic and fear among civilians.

Clashes between the HTS and the Syrian Liberation Front renewed in the village of Bsartoun after a 48-hour cease-fire, which was proposed by the Al-Sham legion and approved by both parties. The HTS and the Syrian Liberation Front exchanged accusations about breaching the cease-fire on their media channels.

Lately, clashes between the HTS and the Syrian Liberation Front occurred in the Aleppo and Idlib countrysides, killing and injuring civilians in addition to blocking roads and commercial operations, amidst an advance of the Syrian Liberation Front in the Idlib Governorate. Several protests arose by people condemning the HTS and its leader, Abu Muhammad Al Julani and calling to neutralize towns and villages from infighting.
