Daraa - SMART

On Wednesday, an explosive device killed three Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters and wounded three others after it exploded near the town of Kafr Nasej north of Daraa, Southern Syria.

The FSA is a military gathering founded in July 2011 by dissident officers of the Syrian loyalist forces to protest the violence against the peaceful demonstrators dyring the Syrian revolution.

Local activists reported that an explosive device exploded in a car carrying fighters of the al-Furqan brigades on the road between the town of Kafr Nasej and the village of al-Mal, killing three of them and wounding three others. The wounded were transferred to a nearby hospital, one of them had to have his feet amputated.

Many explosions by explosive devices or booby-trapped cars and motorcycles have recently taken place in Daraa and Quneitra in Southern Syria, killing and wounding dozens of FSA fighters. Loyalist forces and the Lebanese Hezbollah militia are accused of being behind the explosions, in addition to the Islamic State (ISIS) and the Khalid ibn al-Walid Army, accused of loyalty to ISIS in the region.
