Idlib – SMART

On Saturday, an official of al-Sham Legion of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) said that the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and the Syrian Liberation Front approved a cease-fire agreement in order to discuss their pending files.

Omar Hozifah, the Head of the Shari'a Council of the al-Sham Legion, said that the agreement included releasing both parties' detainees, stopping mutual stalking, opening the roads to reach frontlines with loyalist forces, and putting an end to propaganda.

A week earlier, the HTS and the Syrian Liberation Front approved a 48- hour cease-fire agreement in Northern Syria, as both parties agreed to discuss pending issues through consecutive sessions.

Earlier, the HTS and the Syrian Liberation Front clashed in the Aleppo and Idlib countryside, killing and injuring civilians, in addition to blocking roads, as the Syrian Liberation Front advanced the Idlib Governorate. Whereas civilians protested against the HTS and its leader Abu Muhammad al-Julani, calling to neutralize towns and villages from the infighting.
