Government bombing kills 11 civilians in one day in Duma city, Eastern Ghouta

The Civil Defense documented the killing of 11 civilians in one day as a result of the Syrian loyalist bombing on the besieged city of Duma in Eastern Ghouta, Damascus.

The Civil Defense in Rif Dimashq wrote on their Facebook page that loyalist artillery shelling on residential areas of Duma killed eight civilians, including three Civil Defense volunteers on Wednesday. A previous shelling also killed three civilians.

The Civil Defense added that government helicopters and warplanes repeatedly targeted the cities of Irbin, Zamalka and the town of Haza in the recent hours. No information about casualties was reported. The Civil Defense also pointed out that burning napalm was dropped on hit the cities of Irbin and Zamalka last night.

The Civil Defense reported that shelling on the town of Ain Tarma killed eight civilians yesterday. The shelling also targeted the house of the photojournalist Obeida Abu Omar in the town, killing him.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights documented the killing of 84 civilians last Tuesday as a result of the government and Russian bombing on the cities and towns of Eastern Ghouta.
