Syrian government bombings kill and injure civilians in Douma and Irbin cites, Eastern Ghouta

On Thursday, Syrian government bombed the cities of Douma and Irbin in Eastern Ghouta, Rif Dimashq governorate, killing and injuring civilians.

The Civil Defense reported on its Facebook page that the Syrian government struck the residential neighborhoods of Irbin, killing three civilians and injuring others. The Civil Defense transported the injured to nearby medical clinics.

Local activists reported that Syrian government rocket bombs killed a civilian in Douma. Loyalist artillery also hit neighborhoods in the city, injuring civilians.

Hours ago, the Syrian government bombed residential neighborhoods of Irbin, Zamalka, and Haza, according to the Civil Defense.

The attacks coincide with preparations for the first group of internally displaced persons to exit from the city of Harasta in Ghouta, Northern Syria.

On Wednesday, the Civil Defense documented the killing of 11 civilians from Syrian government strikes on Douma. A further eight civilians have been killed in Ain Tarma, including press photographer Obaida Abu Omar, whose house was bombed.
