Office for Coordination of Support and Response in Northern Syria disseminate statistics of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from Damascus and Eastern Ghouta from March until now. The statistics show that the total number exceeded 67,000 IDPs.

The statistic shows that 67,728 IDPs arrived in Northern Syria. The IDPs included 1,351 from the al Qadam neighborhood, 5,204 from Harasta, 40,895 from Arbin in addition to 1,089 of former IDPs from Arbin and who lived in Douma and 19,189 IDPs from Douma.

The statistics include all the IDPs that arrived from Damascus and Eastern Ghouta between March 14 and April 14.

The Syrian government forces proclaimed seizing all Eastern Ghouta, after evacuating the last group of IDPs. A SMART reporter said that the government forces and supporting militias have started stealing the civilian houses in the outskirts of Douma.

The implementation of the agreement between Jaysh al Islam and Russia have started days earlier. The agreement required Jaysh al Islam fighters to leave with their families, in addition to civilians who wished to go. The deal took place after the government forces committed a chemical massacre in Douma, killing and injuring hundreds of civilians.
