Aleppo - SMART

On Tuesday, a landmine exploded in the town of Soran, 40 kilometers north of Aleppo, Northern Syria, wounding two Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters.

The local council media official of the town, Abdul Qadir Muhammad, told SMART that the wounded fighters are from the Hamzah brigade of the FSA. He stated that one of the wounded is in a critical case and will be transferred to a Turkish hospital.

Muhammad added that unknown persons have recently planted the landmine, which exploded remotely because several civilian cars were passing and it did not explode. When the Hamzah brigade car passed, the mine exploded.

Remains of former bombs, explosive devices, and car bombs have exploded in various areas controlled by the FSA north of Aleppo, killing and wounding dozens of civilians and fighters.
