A car bomb exploded in front of the Grand Mosque, al-Madiq Castle, 50 kilometers northwest of Hama, Central Syria, during the Friday prayer. The explosion injured a child and burned several cars.

Mohammad Rashid, the head of the Jaysh al Nassr Media office, affiliated with the Free Syrian Army, said that a Dacia car bomb exploded in front of the Grand Mosque of the city.

Rashid added that the explosion injured a child and burned six cars, in addition to causing material damage to the buildings. Rashid did not hold any party responsible for the explosion.

Last Friday, a land mine near a government checkpoint in al-Lataminah, Northern Hama, killed a civilian. The Syrian government forces and Russia continue to attack the FSA and areas controlled by Islamic factions, with artillery, missiles and airstrikes, which mostly kill and injure civilians.
