Syrian government shelling injures two children in Northern Hama

On Tuesday, Syrian government artillery shelling injured two children in the city of al-Lattamina and its farmlands, north of Hama, Central Syria.

Ahmad Miqdad, the manager for the Civil Defense media office, stated that the Syrian government forces shelled the city and its farmlands, giving two children major injuries. The Civil Defense transported the injured to hospitals in the Idlib governorate.

Local activists reported that the Syrian government forces shelled the city using 25 missiles from surrounding checkpoints.

The bombings followed a meeting between representatives of Northern Hama, and the Turkish officers of Murek town. The representatives called upon Turkey to expand the de-escalation zone so that it includes the Northern Hama countryside.  

On Monday, Syrian government and Russian bombings hit the towns and villages in the Northern Hama countryside.
