Rif Dimashq - SMART

On Sunday, the opposition factions operating in Southern Damascus reached an agreement with Russia and the Syrian government forces. The agreement included the displacement of people who refuse to reconciliate with the Syrian government forces.

The delegation that represented all opposition factions in Southern Damascus released a statement stating that the agreement allows the people who refuse to reconciliate to leave with their families from the towns of Yalda, Babila and Beit Sahm. The agreement did not mention where the people should go.

The statement also stated that the Russian military police will take responsibility for protecting the three towns, and the Syrian government should provide humanitarian support for civilians and to resume the work of medical and educational services and economic institutions.

The agreement also states that the men who avoided Syrian government military recruitment may postpone for six more months, and then join.

The agreement came after an agreement that called for the evacuation of 15 injured people from the three towns of Yalda, Babila and Beit Sahm to Northern Syria.

The operating faction in Yalda, Babila and Beit Sahm, are the Jaysh al-Islam, the Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement, the Jaysh al-Ababil, and the Rassoul Allah legion.

On Mar. 28, 2018, the Jaysh al-Ababil of the Free Syrian Army said the factions have a vision to keep the towns out of the "scourge of war".
