Aleppo, SMART

On Monday, the al-Sharqiya Army of the Free Syrian Army( FSA) warned internally displaced persons(IDPs)  from Eastern Ghouta to evacuate their homes in the town of Jandayris in the Afrin area, northwest of Aleppo in Northern Syria.

A particular source in the al-Sharqiya Army reported that their fighters complain about the lack of houses to live in as the fighters are displaced initially from the Deir Ez-Zor governorate and live in the city of al-Bab, east of Aleppo.

The source added that the recent clashes that erupted between the al-Sharqiya Army and a family in the city of al-Bab caused the fighters to look for alternative housing.

Activists from Eastern Ghouta in Jandayris reported that the fighters of the al-Sharqiya Army warned the internally displaced families to evacuate their houses in three days or” they will be evacuated by force,” according to the activists.

The activists added that the fighters threatened in public that they would kill those who refuse to evacuate.

Thousands of IDPs from Eastern Ghouta arrived in the Afrin area and settled in houses, which the FSA says that they belong to fighters of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units; however, Kurdish activists report that resettlement and demographic change process takes place in the area.”
