On Tuesday, the preparatory and secondary schools exams started in the Hama governorate, central Syria.

Khaled al-Fares, the head of the Free Hama Educational Directorate, said that 593 preparatory schools’ students and 410 secondary (scientific and theoretical) branches too their exams. Al-Fares noted that the atmosphere of the exams was comforting and calm, and questions were good and suitable for the students’ educational level.

Exam supervisor Marwan Hamadi said that the exams took place in centers in Western and Northern Hamam as well as camps in Northern Syria. Hamadi added that the Free Police undertook to secure the exam centers.

Amer al-Fares, another supervisor, praised exam process upon the first day.

On June 11, 2018, the Ministry of Education of the Syrian government announced the results of preparatory school and Shari’a certificates. 263,704 students submitted preliminary exam. 175, 171 students passed the exam. 3,617 students submitted Shari’a exam. 2968 students passed Sharia exam.
