The "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF) launched an arresting campaign of and arrests of dozens of young men in the villages of Deir Deir Ez-Zor, east of Syria, blaming them for the affiliation to the former "Islamic State" or dealing with the Syrian government.

Local sources told SMART that the activists documented the arrest of about 150 young men in one week in the villages of Hesynia, Duranj, and Markada (about 70 km east of Deir Ez-Zor). The arresting campaign invaded about 140 houses in the area.

The sources added that the campaign, which began about a week ago, continues to this day, adding that it targets persons accused of belonging to the organization of the "Islamic state" or persons who were within the ranks of the ISIS and threw their weapons shortly before entering the "SDF" to the region.

The sources also said that the arrest of more than 30 people was documented on charges of dealing with the Syrian regime to smuggle fuel to the areas of control on the West Bank of the Euphrates River.

On Sunday, SDF arrested 64 people during a raid on the villages of Al-Shuhail and Al-Ruz (37 kilometers east of Deir Ez-Zor) on charges of belonging to the Islamic State organization, the Nasra Front, and the Furat Brigades. Envy ".

Recently, SDF took control of areas adjacent to the Iraqi border in cooperation with the Iraqi army during Operation Desert Storm against the Islamic State.
