Aleppo - SMART

On Friday night, a suspended fighter from the al-Hamza troop of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) attacked the al-Ziraa building. The building is controlled by the troop in the city of al-Bab, 38 kilometers east of Aleppo, Northern Syria. Clashes with the building's guards occurred after the attack.

Activists exchanged a voice recording of one of the al-Hamza troop commanders, Abu Abdo al-Kadri, where he said that a fighter, al-Harri, who was drunk, attacked the al-Ziraa building with other fighters. Al-Harri and his fighters clashed with the building's guards, injuring several attackers.

Al-Kadri added that al-Harri is wanted for the police and by the al-Hamza troop. Al-Kadri said that the police should arrest al-Harri; otherwise, the al-Kadri will send a group to arrest him.

Activists from the city of al-Bab reported that the clashes in the city stopped during the night. No information about the location of al-Harri or his arrest are currently available.

Several attacks by fighters of the FSA on other fighters or on civilians occurred in the areas controlled by the Euphrates Shield factions. Earlier last year, al-Harri attacked the al-Ziraa building with other fighters, killing and injuring civilians and destroying several houses, cars, and shops.
