Free Syrian Army graduates 125 fighters from 23rd Division in Aleppo

The 23rd division, affiliated with the National Syrian Army, graduated a new group of fighters. The fighters underwent a one month training at a camp near Kilis, 50 kilometers north of Aleppo, Northern Syria.

Muhammad Sameer Brer, the General Commander of the 23rd Division of the northern section, said that the training aimed to prepare the division for any possible attack, and to participate with the Turkish Army in military operations against Manbij or Tal Rifaat.

Brer added that the training included 125 fighters, led by Colonel Abdul Muhsen Hussein. He added that the fighters were trained to use use medium and light weapons, completed physical exercises and practiced military tactics in organized groups. They learned how to monitor and implement ambushes.

In December 2017, 150 fighters graduated from the al-Sultan Murad Division in al-Bab. In the same month, 145 fighters graduated from the al-Mu'tasim Brigade while the  the Ministry of Defense of the Interim Government formed the National Army.
