On Wednesday night and Thursday morning, Israeli warplanes bombed Syrian government forces’ outposts in the Quneitra governorate, Southern Syria.

Avichay Adraee, the spokesperson for Israeli Army posted on social media that Israeli warplanes bombed three military outposts in response to a Syrian drone that violated the air space over the occupied Golan Heights.

On Wednesday, the Israeli Army shot down a Syrian drone using a Patriot missile near the ceasefire line in the occupied Golan Heights.

Adra’ee noted that they consider the Syrian government responsible for what is happening in Syria, warning the Syrian government of working against Israel.

Syrian government media outlets reported a military source confirming the Israeli bombing on Syrian government forces’ outposts around the perimeter of Hadar town and Tal Karoum Jaba. The source noted that the bombings damaged the area's infrastructure.

A military source confirmed that Israeli warplanes bombed Qurus al-Nafil Hill, which lies adjacent to the town of Hadar.

On Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, that he expects the Syrian government to rigidly implement the disengagement agreement.
