Turkish military convoy heads to Western Idlib through Khirbat al-Jouz crossing

On Thursday, a Turkish military convoy entered through the Khirbat al-Jouz crossing in the Idlib countryside heading to a monitoring outpost in the Jisr ash-Shughur countryside, Western Idlib, Northern Syria. A convoy of the al-Sham Legion faction escorted the Turkish convoy.

Activists reported that the convoy included 15 vehicles transporting food and logistic materials, and headed for the Turkish monitoring outpost near the village of Ishtabraq in the Jisr ash-Shughur countryside.

The activists added that the convoy arrived at the monitoring outpost escorted by five picks up vehicles of the al-Sham Legion of the Free Syrian Army.  

The activists added that the convoy entered the area upon a common routine procedure to supply Turkish monitoring outposts with foodstuff and other necessities.

On Tuesday, ten Turkish military vehicles entered through the crossing of the village of Kafr Losueen heading to a monitoring outpost in the al-Saraman silos area near the city of Jarajanaz, south of Idlib. Fighters and vehicles of the al-Sham Legion escorted the Turkish vehicles.

Earlier, Turkey established monitoring outposts in Idlib, Aleppo, and Hama to implement the de-escalation agreement reached in the Astana talks 6.
