Islamic State kills Kurdish Protection Unit commander and fighters in Eastern Deir Ez-Zor

The Islamic State (ISIS) killed four members of Syrian Democratic forces (SDF), one of them a commander of the Kurdish Protection Unit ( YPG) after attacking them in Eastern Deir Ez-Zor, Eastern Syria.
ISIS media reported that they killed the fighters and the commander a day ago near the water plant in the village of al-Sir, the al-Basira district (33 kilometers east of Deir Ez-Zor). The ISIS media did not mention the attack’s details.
On May 28, a Syrian Democratic Forces fighter was shot in the village of al-Zir.
The ISIS fighters have been attacking and clashing with the SDF, killing and injuring fighters from both sides.
