Islamic State posts photos of women detainees from Eastern al-Suwayda countryside

On Friday, the Islamic State posted photos of several women, who were kidnapped on Wednesday during an IS attack on the villages of the Eastern al-Suwayda countryside, Southern Syria.

The photos showed seven women sitting in front of the IS flag. No further information about the place or time of the images were reported yet.

Locals from the village of Shbeki, Eastern al-Suwayda, posted the names of about 30 people, including more than 15 women, who were lost during the attack. The locals found four women alive hiding in a cave; they also found two women's bodies.  

On Thursday night, the Syrian government forces sent a military convoy to the Eastern al-Suwayda countryside. The convoy included dozens of heavy armored vehicles. The arrival of the convoy came after 36 hours of the end of the battle. 

The IS attacked the villages of the Eastern al-Suwayda countryside, killing more than 200 people and injuring others.
