Deir al-Zor - SMART

On Friday, local sources reported that air raids, allegedly performed by the International Coalition, led by the United States against the Islamic State, killed four civilians near an ISIS-controlled town, east of Deir Ez-Zor, Eastern Syria.

Sources reported that the raids targeted three vehicles, loaded with food supplies, near the town of Susah, killing four civilians initially from the villages of Salba and Mkemin in the Hama countryside, Central Syria.

Activists said that suspected International Coalition warplanes bombed a group of civilians as they exited the town. Loyalist media channels reported that several civilians were killed and others were injured.

Local activists affirmed that suspected International Coalition warplanes raided the towns of Susah and Bagoz Foqani. The raids killed 28 civilians and 26 ISIS members. The National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces condemned this massacre, saying that the International Coalition, led by the USA, had failed to protect civilians.
