Idlib - SMART

The Hayat Tahrir al-SHam (HTS) broke into houses in the town of al-Habit, 55 kilometers south of Idlib, Northern Syria, searching for people accused of reconciling with the Syrian government.

Activists reported that the HTS arrested 13 people after breaking into their houses in the town. The HTS accused them of attempting to reconcile with the Syrian government, without an official statement from the HTS about the reasons.

The military council of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) operating in Kafroma, Southern Idlib, stated that they will kill the people who reconcile with the Syrian government. The council also threatened to hold accountable each person promoting the Syrian government, “with even a word,” according to the statement.

A new military body, including FSA and Islamic factions, threatened on Friday to kill the people who promote reconciling with the Syrian government.
